The process which activates and facilitates client's to manoeuvre their path through the complexities and detail of difficulties, past and present, is dependant on the quality of the relationship achieved with their counsellor or psychotherapist.

It is generally agreed that this relationship becomes the catalyst, and therefore, focus for reparation in many schools of counselling. Conditions of self worth and trust are the profits to be harvested from forging a strong therapeutic alliance. The prospect of expansion, growth and positive change in life becomes an achievable reality.

I strive to tailor my style and approach to therapy to suit every individual who visits the Summer House.

The quote by Carl Jung illustrates that every relationship has an affect. None more so than our very first relationship with Mother which perhaps begins before we are born.
